Shirley Jo Dickens-Wilson – Paw Prints proprietor
Shirley Jo Dickens-Wilson opened Paw Prints Boarding and Grooming in 2001 with a singular goal: provide premium boarding, day care, and grooming for the people and pets of Deer Park and Harris County.
Shirley Jo is an animal lover with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and more than three decades worth of business experience as a former buyer for Mobil Global Oil’s supply chain group. Her job responsibilities involved researching and purchasing a wide range of high-quality products and services for engineers running various projects and operations. Now Shirley Jo uses the organizational and interpersonal skills she learned in the corporate world to run her own business – and so Paw Prints can consistently provide great value and exceptional customer service.
Shirley Jo has four dogs of her own: two adult Standard Poodles and two puppies. Her “grown” dogs, Baron and Flannel, are the official welcoming committee for Paw Prints customers and their pets, greeting everyone at the door with friendly tail wags. Visitors can say hi to Shirley Jo’s “little ones” –Australian Shepherd, Moonlight and Dogo Argentino, Sunshine – as they romp and frolic around the playroom.
